Celebrating Personal Achievements: Do You Reward Yourself?

The Affiliate Marketing Lifestyle, Reward Yourself

Hello readers!

There are many reasons why you should reward yourself after accomplishing tasks, or projects, and this is something that I am learning to do more often as I acknowledge my achievements going forward.

I have recently completed and graduated in my level 5 SEO strategy course, and level 5 Social Media Marketing course at NZIE ( New Zealand Institute of Technology ) and I am feeling super amped to have received my formal certificates of qualification.

I will be using the skills taught in this course to help my online affiliate marketing business, and will in turn help me and my family live a happier, healthier lifestyle.

There has been quite the wait to hear back from NZIE about my grades and the anticipation was killing me!

Finally today, there was a message of completion in my email inbox. The feeling of joy and excitement flooded my body immediately, motivating me to firstly go and tell my missis, and secondly remind myself how far I have come since I first started my journey online.

Why Reward Yourself?

Rewarding yourself in even just a small way for your accomplishments is important for several reasons, and making a conscious effort to do this can help your success in all areas of life.

Reasons why you should reward yourself for your efforts and accomplishments:

  1. Motivation: Rewards serve as powerful motivators. They create a positive association with the accomplishment, making you more likely to repeat the behavior that led to success. This can help you stay focused and committed to your goals.
  2. Reinforcement: Rewards reinforce the idea that your efforts are worthwhile. When you associate a positive outcome with hard work, you’re more likely to continue putting in effort. This positive reinforcement strengthens the connection between your actions and positive results.
  3. Celebration of Success: Celebrating achievements, no matter how small, allows you to acknowledge your hard work and dedication. It’s a way of recognizing your accomplishments and taking a moment to feel proud of what you’ve achieved.
  4. Boosts Confidence: Rewards contribute to an increased sense of self-worth and confidence. When you recognize and reward your achievements, it builds a belief in your ability to overcome challenges and succeed in the future.
  5. Enhances Goal Setting: Knowing that a reward awaits you upon reaching a goal can make the goal more enticing and engaging. It can encourage you to set and strive for more challenging objectives.
  6. Creates a Positive Cycle: Establishing a habit of rewarding yourself for accomplishments creates a positive cycle of motivation. As you consistently celebrate your victories, you’re likely to maintain a more optimistic and motivated mindset.
  7. Improves Overall Well-being: Taking time to acknowledge and reward yourself contributes to your overall well-being. It allows you to enjoy the journey of working toward your goals rather than solely focusing on the end result.

It’s important to note that rewards don’t have to be extravagant; they can be simple and aligned with your preferences. Whether it’s treating yourself to a favorite meal, taking a day off, or indulging in a hobby, the key is to recognize your efforts and savor the satisfaction of accomplishing your goals.

Where To From Here?

From here, I have almost completed another level 5 certificate in ‘Social Media Marketing Strategy’ and handed in my last assignment this morning.

Upgrading your knowledge is a skill that can be done for free or with paid courses. If you can, I recommend everyone keep upskilling and motivate themselves to build a better lifestyle.

I am on a mission to help as many people as possible break free from the 9 – 5 rat race work system most of us are stuck in.

Trust me when I say there is a better way to live, and that starts with building passive income, that once set up, will pay you over and over again…even while you sleep.

I have done it, so can you!

How To Reward Yourself

There are many ways someone can reward themselves and not all rewards have to be huge or expensive, in fact, you can reward yourself by taking some time out and going for a walk on a beach, heading to a friend’s house for a catchup, or simply going and grabbing your favorite ice cream.

I sometimes take a day off, get out of the office, and head out to the river for a gold mine. ( I have the gold fever really bad ) I find this rejuvenating, and therapeutic, and gives me time to reflect on my accomplishments.

I also get rewarded with gold…

No matter how you reward yourself, it reinforces the fact that you have been successful, accomplished your task, and that you are capable of success.

Now go get into those tasks, and once completed, don’t forget to reward yourself!
